Best Ever Peach Cobbler

1 ½ C sugar
1 tbs cinnamon
1 stick margarine
1 C flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
¾ C milk
1 can (30 oz) sliced peaches in syrup

Preheat over to 350 degrees. Melt margarine in 9x13 dish. Set aside ½ C sugar and all of the cinnamon. Also drain the peaches reserving the liquid.

Mix 1 C sugar and the other dry ingredients together in a bowl. Stir in the milk and syrup from the peaches. Put peaches in the dish; pour batter over the top of the peaches. Mix the cinnamon and 1/2C sugar. Sprinkle over the top of the mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until the top crust is golden brown.
